You would probably like Man o war or 3 Inches of Blood for operatic, symphonic, zombie- slaughtering metal. There is an early 80's english punk/hc type band called Amebix (i think) who are very reminiscent of Motorhead.
More in the punk/hc vein but still metallish is Doom....sounds satanic but is actually positive!
Cannibal Corpse (thrash) and of course the mighty Gwar, who are possibly the most purely evil metal band to ever desecrate our Mother Earth with their unholy presence.
And of course, Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden kinda make me want to take up my sword and exact bloody vengeance on all the evildoers of the world.
